John D. Bell, M.D.

Dr. Bell is from Denver and a graduate of Regis High School, the University of Colorado, and the University of Colorado School of Medicine. He received his training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Bethesda Naval Hospital in Washington, D.C. After his military service, Dr. Bell returned to Denver and has been caring for patients for over 30 years. During this time, besides having served on various medical boards and committees, he is a past Chairman of the Department of Ob/Gyn at St. Joseph’s Hospital, has been recognized as one of the top five Ob/Gyn’s in the Denver area by a poll of physicians conducted by the Denver Post, and in 1999, was also listed among the top Ob/Gyn’s by a poll of physicians conducted by Channel 4 News. At the beginning of 2006, after delivering thousands of babies, Dr. Bell has decided to limit his practice to seeing gynecologic patients only. Dr. Bell's time outside of the office is spent with his four children and twelve grandchildren, trying to keep up with them on the ski slopes and golf courses.
